Profile: My name is Chama, named after the city of Chama, New Mexico and like the Rio Chama that flows through that town, I am a wild, energetic, independent, and very smart Australian Cattle Dog. I am a purebred puppy but because I was born deaf the Humane Society got me in hopes of finding special parents. My new folks live on 5 acres in the mountains of NM very much like Australia and I have two brothers whom I heel incessantly. My mom is disabled as well and needs a special dog that can help her pick stuff up when she drops them. She is very knowledgeable about dog training and signals so I understand her with no problems. I love the Daily Puppy and check it out everyday.
