In Loving MemoryIn 2004,my neighbor's American Bulldog was havng a litter of puppies.So we picked lucy the first time we saw her,as she was getting older she started showing sighns of not growing and not using her back legs,the vet said it was because of genetics,since she was a english/american bulldog,she probably got stuck in the birth canal,when Dolly(her mom)was giving birth.Since our neighbor was not doing anything to help her,my mom decided to buy her.When she was 6 weeks,but because of her birth defect,she was only 3 pounds!So we had to bottle feed her.Even though i was only 6,i still remeber lucy laying on my chest licking my chin:)The vet decided doggie wheels wouldnt work because she wasnt showing any progress of growing,so we had to put her to sleep.We couldnt handle not having a dog,so a few days later my mom brought home a surprise.Patrick,my best friend the golden retriever.
