Roma came to our home 10 years ago at the age of 2 from Border Collie Rescue. She is without a doubt the most loving and sweet dog on the planet. We cuddle and smooch so much it becomes annoying to the other members of the household, both 2 and 4 legged. :-)

Bella is a piece of work as you will see by some of her "relaxing" pictures. She's nearly 12 years old but I rescued her as a puppy and as her puppy pics show.... how could you resist. She is very spoiled, she reads my mind, and she is foremost very loved. *Excuse that Bella's pictures are posted with Roma.....mom will fix those later. Her Kitty, Nina is also pictured for family equity.

Actually, Lucy is a Blue tick Coonhound/German Shorthair Pointer mix, but there is not a designation for Blue Ticks. She came to our house in the summer 2009, during a thunderstorm and rang our doorbell.... literally. We later saw her do it again two more times. She's the right height when she jumps up on the door and hits the door bell with her paw. I tried in vain to locate her owner and for months to find her a good home on a farm or acreage but to no avail. Now she's wheedled her way into hearts. I've always been a herding dog owner and fan so this little hound dog has been a rude awakening for me.:-) She is soooo full of energy and her hunting drive is incredible. The dog park has been a blessing and she LOVES it. She's very social and knows everyone both 2 and 4 legged.... Everyone loves her. She should be in "sales" she could support me in my "golden years". Ha! With her love of people and vice versa I hope to take her to therapy dog training in the future. She's a mystical dog and draws people to her. Neighbors come out of their houses or stop their cars to come and greet her when they see us out walking! She's a rock star in the community! When she's worn out she's the biggest cuddler you will meet, however shoes and throw pillows are not sacred to her. We've come a long way since July but our journey toward civility continues.
