Puggy

This is Puggy, a male Chihuahua/Pug mix. we bought him when he was just 5 weeks old from a pet store. (I think pet stores are VERY bad, because they sometimes get their puppies from puppy mills.) :( Anyway, he was just a fat little ball of cuteness then, but now, he weighs 10 pounds and loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. (And much-loved!!!)

Sweetie

This is Sweetie, our purebred female Chihuahua. She is very sweet, hence the name! We bought her from a lady, but we don't know exactly how old she was. Probably about 7-9 weeks old... She's not the kind that likes to play, at all, actually! But she is quite spoiled, you can be sure of that!!

In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

Oh boy..how can I describe Chuggs!!!?? We bought him from a pet store about 4 years ago, but he is gone now. He was that kind of dog that you meet once in a lifetime, then seek for vainly, before and after. I still remember his cute face, sweet personality, loving heart, so big that it overflowed. He was much loved by me and my parents, but most by my mom. She loved that dog like none other. She said that when she'd get out of the shower, she would walk down the stairs of our two-story house, and, Chuggy would lick her heels as she walked. It drove her crazy, but she laughed and laughed about it, too. He was so spunky, it was funny. He loved to lay in the dash of our motorhome when ever he got to. We had him for two years. I remember the night he ran away, we still believe he was trying to find US. It was Wednesday night, we went to town for a while, then came back. No Chuggy. He was always there to greet us!! Only our other dog was there. We were frantic. It was dark outside, but we began to look. My mom and I got back in the car and began to drive slowly up and down our quiet country road. Nothing. We also did our daily rounds of looking through all of the animal shelters in our area to see if he had been found. He was very dear to us!! After days of handing out $1,000 reward sheets if anyone found him, still nothing. Where was he!? We were even on channel 7 news, but nothing happened. Then one day my dad found a little card at the pet shelter on the bulliton board advertising to find lost pets. Perfect!! We called the number and a lady came to our house with a beautiful, German Shepard? I'm not sure what kind of dog it was, but the lady told us that the dog was a retired search-and-rescue dog for humans. The dog now would help us to find Chuggy. The lady, (I'm not sure what her name was, but lets just call her Linda) asked us to get some things of Chuggy's, like toys and blankets that had his scent on it. She showed a blanket to her dog. The dog took one sniff, then she put her nose to the ground and began pulling Linda across the driveway!! You see, the dog had to get Chuggy's scent to know what she was looking for among all the other smells. We tracked his smell up the driveway, to the road, back and forth across the road. The we came to the highway. We tracked his scent across the highway all the way into a barn of some people that let us look. Then all of a sudden, No Scent. Nothing. Gone. We believe a racoon got him.~~~~~~~ We love you Chuggy. We miss you, and we hope you know we tried to find you. ^^
