Henry celebrated his 16th birthday on 11 August 2011. He is a rescue dog. His mother was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, his father unknown. He looks like a miniature labrador. He is a loving and lovable boy. His favourite things are walks, treats, looking after our chickens and strict time management of his owners/servants. Henry passed away on 17 April 2011.View Profile
Tess was Henry's Mum. She was a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was found as a mangy, starving stray in Dorset, England a week before she gave birth to a litter of 7 puppies. We were going along to adopt one of the rescue pups (Henry), but we fell in love with Tess and adopted her too. We had 10 happy years with her, before she passed away in March 2006, aged about 16 or 17 years. She was an extrovert and mischievous monkey who was always the centre of attention. Her 'party trick' was a well-timed loud 'burp', used to get attention, deflate pompous speeches, comment on her current state of satisfaction, embarrass us while we were on the phone etc etc. She got a great deal of mileage out of that one! We still miss her and think of her often.View Profile
Brock is from West Cumbria Dog Rescue. He had lived all of his life up to that point on a farm in an outdoor run, with little human contact. He came to us in September 2012, aged 2 1/2 years old, completely untrained, nervous of people and covered in bite marks and scars. He is a Patterdale/Jack Russell mix (which we have taken to calling a PatterJack!). He is an adorable little dog; full of energy and mischief! He loves walks, meeting other dogs, playing with his toys, sitting on the sofa for tickles and attention, lying in the sun or in front of the fire, running round the garden, training sessions and testing what is and isn't suitable for chewing! We are so pleased to have him, and enjoy every minute of his company :)View Profile
