Althea Jane is a black Lab mix who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Georgia when she was just a few weeks old. Although she wasn't the strongest or boldest of 5-month-old pups, within hours of her arrival in Boston, Althea Jane's personality began to shine. Althea Jane is an incredibly curious and friendly girl, and simply must say hello to every person and pup she comes across. She is super sweet and loves to give kisses...especially to guys with beards! Althea Jane loves to play with her friends on the Boston Common, wrestling and chasing after tennis balls. Her favorite way to unwind after a trip to the dog park is laying out in the kitchen and bopping her head along to music as her mom cooks dinner...and hopefully tosses her some scraps!
