Profile: What can I say, I love blond dogs! Growing up I had a few Irish Setters, but mostly Goldens; naturally I fell in love. They have a wonderful temperment and huge hearts. My two pups, Ellie (golden retriever) and Hunter (lab), keep my husband and I busy hiking at the park, swimming in the lake, camping, playing chuckit, and hogging up the house when they romp around. Ellie, 2yrs, has such an easy going and obedient demeanor that we quickly realized she had great potential. She's aced puppy class, become an Red Cross Animal Assisted Therapy Dog, and will be enrolling in more puppy classes soon. Hunter has great potential too, but he's a bit hyper yet at 1 year old. He's going to make an excellent bird dog and therapy dog one day!

Ellie is our pride and joy; she's got it all in our book: patience, brains (though stubborn at times), charm, impeccable manners, photogenic, and of course beauty. She's an avid swimmer and retriever of sticks and tennis balls, best cuddle bug there is, best friend and playmate of her "brother," Hunter (Lab) and "cousin," Izzy (German Shepherd), chicken "nana," and loves bringing smiles and joy to the folks she visits in nursing homes as an Animal Assisted Therapy Dog with the Red Cross. Couldn't love her more!View Profile
What an energetic guy! Only after romping with his "sister," Ellie, swimming at the lake, playing chuckit king, or harassing the chickens will he settle (and only for a short time)! One thing's for certain though... he always has a smile :) We adopted Hunter when he was 5 months old from a local family who was not responsible enough to have a dog. For the first two months my husband and I went through the "What were we thinking!!!???" phase as Hunter and his older "sister," Ellie destroyed the house playing together. After a few stressful months Hunter won our hearts, and Ellies; there isn't a moment Hunter isn't by our sides. He completes the family!View Profile
