In Loving MemoryGeorgia is my little Bichon Frise, and the pride of my life. I never had a dog before her, never knew what love dogs could bring to life. I am so grateful for her! She loves to cuddle on laps, belly scratches, Charlee Bears, going on walkies and going with me to get the mail. She does not like trucks, school buses, fireworks, power outages, bath time, riding in the car, or going to the vet. One of her favorite daily activities is running to the window to bark at the passing kids and cars (she thinks she's a ferocious guard dog). Georgia is my sweet little angel and I love her to pieces. Update 3.14.13: Georgia had to go to Rainbow Bridge early this morning, after aggressive lung cancer transformed her into a shell of the sweet, rotund little love bundle she once was. She leaves behind many broken hearts and a family that will miss her every minute. R.I.P., beloved angel. You will never be forgotten.
View ProfileZoey (formerly named Peeps) joined the family Jan. 17. 2010, and was rescued from a puppy mill. She is believed to be a Pekingese/Japanese Chin mix, though I think she may also have some Chihuahua in her. She was well cared for by her foster mom, who she was also very attached to. She was overlooked because of her underbite, and I don't know why, she's beautiful. Zoey is slowly coming out her shell, learning to trust others and getting used to her new home. She loves to hear "good girl" and enjoys a rawhide stick or squeaky toy. Zoey wants to be friends with Georgia, who isn't too sure of her yet. She gives the sweetest mini kisses and rolls over in her sleep! Zoey is a darling baby and is quickly becoming just as spoiled as Georgia. :) ***Update 5/10***: Zoey now handles walkies with ease, no longer cowers at the sight of trucks, soaks up the sun, loves playing with yarn balls, ANY sort of squeaky toy, UGG boots, chewies, and trying to "catch" the bugs she sees through the sliding glass door. Her smiles and tailey wags are constant now! :)
