Max was supposedly ill treated as a young pup and was adopted by a loving mum, who used him to sire her female. Once he wasn't needed anymore - she sold him and I was lucky enough for him to choose me as his new Mum! Not sure, but I got him when he was near 2 yrs old and I've had him nearly 5 years next month! So he's about '7'? He is the best companion for me, as I'm in a wheelchair and when I go out, it's on my electric scooter and he's like my "Sled Dog"!!! LOL. Night time, he lets ME share HIS Queen sized bed! So Generous!!! LOL. He snores quite often, so I know there is 'someone' there!
