My name is Balsam and I am 8 years old. I'm a bagel hound, to which I attribute my floppy ears, cheeks, and dewlap (sometimes I trip over them or they get wet when I drink). I came to my new human family when I was just six weeks old, and ever since then I've ruled the roost. My favorite place is on the couch, even though Mommy tells me not to go there. This way I can perch on the arm rest and howl at the cars passing by. I sleep in Mommy's bed and I'm like the third child she never had, with all the love in the world. I keep her company since my brother and sister went away to college.
