Profile: Hello my name is Ilsa (aka Sugar). I am a 5 month old German Shepherd. I was born blind along with my brother and we were left early in the morning tied to the door of a kill shelter by the breeder. Thanks to the Daily Puppy's link to www.sheprescue.org, my mom and dad fell in love with me and flew me to my new home in MN. At first, the stairs were quite a challenge. But now, I go up and down with no trouble at all. I am a very friendly, outgoing and energetic puppy. I love to chase my seeing "brother" Axel around the house even when he is not in the mood. I love to be with Axel and whine when he is not around. I am also considered the best cricket hunter in the neighborhood. My family loves me very much and I am lucky to be alive
