Puppy: No Puppies

Profile: My avatar is Xiba (Sheba), whose photo you see here. My husband and I adopted her when she was nine, and had been starved, beaten, and otherwise mistreated. She lived with us until she was 16, which - for a German Shepherd - is a long life. She never quite recovered from the horrors of her youth, but I like to think that she was a happy as she could be. She left us in July 2008 and is sorely missed.
