Puppies: Jewel, Chrysie, Cookie

Profile: I love animals, especially dogs! When I was young I had a toy poodle named Holly, who I grew up with for 16 years. She was my little sister that I loved with all my heart, since I was an only child. After 6 months of a very lonely and empty house, when Holly passed away, we brought Chrysie & Cookie into our family, 2 little papillons. What a joy! When I married and moved from home, I just had to have a papillon as well, so Jewel was welcomed into our family. She was already 9 months old, and I believe she may have been abused by a former family, as she wasn't good around anyone but us. Now all 3 are happy, healthy buddies :)

Jewel

Jewel joined our family at 9 months old, the story is told in my profile! She is very energetic, a real clown, loves to makes sounds like a coyote when she plays with her squeaky toys, and moves her front arms like she's swimming when she wants her belly rubbed :)

Chrysie is the oldest of all three papillons, and the liveliest! She doesn't walk, she bounces ;) Chrysie loves to be held, and loves People! UPDATE: Our precious Chrysie passed away after a very short, fast-acting illness on May 12, 2009. One week she was perfect, the next, her kidneys were failing and she couldn't keep anything down. We will miss her & love her always, our sweet little Chrysie-Poo

Cookie is the largest of our papillons. She has such beautiful markings, she would have made a perfect show dog, if she hadn't grown to be twice the normal size! UPDATE: Today, July 22, our beautiful Cookie joined little Chrysie in heaven, ending her suffering after a very quick illness, very similar to Chrysie's before she died. Cookie stopped eating a week ago, and lost weight very rapidly, though she still drank a lot of water. She had terrible diahhrea everyday and the vet said she was in kidney/liver failure, and could even have cancer, considering the pain she believed Cookie had in her abdomen. The vet said that Cookie was trying to tell us in her own way that she had given up, by not eating. We haven't even begun to get over Chrysie's passing, and now Cookie is gone. Although this has been the worst summer ever, we know that they both had very happy, long lives, with a family who loved them more than anything else in the world. Though we'll be grieving for a long time, we know they are together again, and feeling no pain. Jewel misses both of them so much, we'll have to give her extra attention :)
