Profile: Both my husband and I grew up with dogs and were ecstatic to have one of our own. We knew we wanted intelligence, but we also wanted a people loving dog who could come with us to the camp for foster care children we volunteer at each summer and bring them some smiles! Lola is all that and more! She has become our darling and our motivating force to get away from the grad school books & papers to grade and take a walk! Lola's intelligence and attentiveness won us over at the start, and her continued love and exuberance keeps us smiling every day!

We got Lola in June of 2009 and she's a curly, warm-hearted, lovable, non-shedding (whoo-hoo) Labradoodle. Lola loves everyone and every dog she meets, has an overabundance of energy, and loves running at the dog park, chasing a Frisbee, or playing tug. Often too smart for her own good, Lola will give herself challenges to figure out, like opening/closing the door to her crate - her nickname's Houdini for a reason!! When Lola does relax she loves having her super-soft back, head, or belly rubbed and frequently overwhelms us with how adorable she is!View Profile
