Profile: One of the most delightful creatures that ever existed on the globe, Gladiola passed to a world full of chewies, fat, slow squirrels that need chasing, and people who need extra love and attention on 19 January 2012. Having spent a glad life in Austin, she spent her dozen years swimming at Lake Travis, taking long walks at Turkey Creek, chasing squirrels who had the audacity to try invading her backyard, rough-housing with her Dad, napping with her Mom, and waging an ongoing hospitality campaign to greet all who stopped by to visit. Found on the side of the road when we were stopping for a coffee outside of Houston, she's was the best reason to ever stop at a Starbucks.
