Profile: I LOVE animals! I have always had a special connection with animals since i was a young girl. The love between us and them is so special and unconditional. I have worked in an animal hospital for years but since moving to Tennessee, I have not been able to find a job in an animal hospital. We live out in the country and there just isn't as many animal hospitals around here as there were in my home-state of Florida. I miss working with the animals and i hope to eventually find something close enough to me. I have a wonderful life and i love spending time with my "Mal". He's funny and LOVES to chase and try to "eat" the water from the garden hose...he loves to run through the water and jump at it....yet HATES to get a bath. Go figure. What i don't like in life is MEAN people. I have met too many jealous, mean people in my life. I believe in karma and i believe that you get what you give. I LOVE LOVE LOVE nice people and unfortunately it seems they are hard to find these days. I'm a lover not a fighter. Wish the rest of the world was, too....

Willie is my Alaskan Malamute. He is about 5 years old. He LOVES to be sprayed with the garden hose even though he HATES a bath! He also loves to "talk" to people whenever they come over to the house! He will "talk" your ear off!!! Willie gives hugs every morning and has bursts of "puppy energy" when he's feeling extra playful! :) He loves the snow and he loves to lay outside and let the snow fall on him. I call it "Willie Weather".View Profile
Scooter was our one year old mix. he was a shining light! he loved life and lived it to it's fullest. he had the biggest heart of any living being i've ever come across. words can never describe the beautiful being that was Scooter. He loved to do everything with us! He especially enjoyed camping! He loved his "baby" toy...he would curl up on the couch with us, with his baby under his arm and if that "baby" fell off the couch...he would jump down to get it and climb right back up on the couch! He was funny :) He had a little bed on our porch and he dragged this little bed to wherever the sun was shining to lay in the sun when he was out there! In the winter, he would go out there and pull his bed onto the couch we have on the porch...for extra comfort! He was so amazing. He was my little "velcro" dog...he really literally followed me everywhere. Now when i look down....there is no Scooter :( i imagine he is there in spirit...View Profile
Lucky was born on the morning of New Years Eve! His daddy was Willie and his mommy was Brownie (a neighbor's dog...she is a Red Healer mix) Lucky may have gotten parvo and died at 6 months old :( He was best friends with Scooter and LOVED his daddy! Willie was so patient with him. He even learned to "talk" from his daddy. You could definately see that Malamute in Lucky! Lucky loved to look at himself in the mirror! He would "talk" to the puppy in the mirror and it was hilarious. He was a BIG boy...50 lbs at 6 months old! He never could figure out how to get up on the couch by himself! He loved to get in the small kiddie pool to cool off. He was a beautiful puppy that we will never get to know better :( The rock you see him sitting on in his pic...is now called "Lucky's Rock"...he loved to sit there when he was outside and watch the birds! P.S... some of the dates on the pics are wrong....when the battery dies on our camera it resets and that date is not accurate....sorry :( Lucky was born 12/31/10 and died 6/25/11View Profile
Triscuit and Waffles are the two newest editions to my family :) They are both roughly between 9 and 10 weeks old. We got both of these adorable pups from a neighbor...and they have filled a hole in our lives that was left by the passing of Scooter and Lucky. Triscuit is the brown and white little guy and is a ball of energy! Waffles is the brindle who LOVES a nap on the closest lap! They are a mischievous couple but they are so sweet and precious. So full of life and happy! They came along right when we needed them the most...i'd like to think they were sent to us...View Profile
