Rita was a shelter dog transferred from Utah to San Diego along with 4 other littermates. We adopted her in February of 2010 at approximately 3 months old. She is very sweet and playful and is friendly with every dog and person she's met. She's very curious and at times overly rambunctious, and these two traits tend to get her in trouble from time to time. Fortunately, she’s also a quick learner, and is figuring out what is and isn't allowed. As far as what breeds make up her heritage, we're not really sure. The rescue group labeled her and her littermates as "coonhound blend", so we're going with that for now.
