Profile: *IF YOU COMMENT ON MY PUPS & WANT ME 2 COMMENT ON YOURS, ADD ME AS A FRIEND OR JUST ASK 4 A COMMENT! I WILL LEAVE ONE!* Hey! I'm Gabby, i guess.. Um well i made this for my dogs. Or should i say my dog... Cody was our first faithful friend of 9 years& he passed on 2 years ago. We miss him dearly he was our first pet we ever owned. *forever in our hearts* (: Then, we decided we just couldn't live without a dog running around the house, so we adopted Bud, a playful, not to mention beautiful golden Labrador pup a few months ago. Once again, he has filled our hearts with what we thought was lost, but the truth is we just weren't looking in the right place. I strongly believe in the fight against puppy mills and animal cruelty! That is why i am a strong supporter of our small town animal rescue team. Together, we CAN make a difference and we WILL. (:

In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

Cody was a sweet, loving Golden Retriever who totally melted our hearts. He loved to go on walks and play with the kids in the yard but was always also perfectly content to curl up by our feet at night and relax. He always slept on his back with his paws up in the air and his mouth hung open(: My two year old sister always said that he was always "smiling". We could not have asked for a better dog! R.I.P Cody! We love you!

* Thank you to Tim Jacobson for the great pic.s of Bud in his hunting training classes (will be added soon)*We adopted him 4 months ago, he has filled our lives with what we thought we had lost after Cody's passing 2 years ago. We just couldn't stand the silence of the house.. no barking... no jingling of dog tags... no scratching at the door... and no dog to take for those long peaceful walks as the sun is setting. We love him with all our hearts! Bud is a very down to earth pup, and very well mannered it is obvious that someone took time train him, and then decided to throw him away like he was nothing, so he ended up at the shelter where he found hid new loving home with us. We where nervous to take in such a young dog for the fear of him hurting little Lyndsey my sister who is only 3 years old. But, we where not leaving the shelter without him. He was very wound up when we first took him home, and before long he had knocked over Lyndsey and broken my flower vase. We thought we had made the biggest mistake of our lives. My dad really had a bond with him already so we decided to give him a week and see how it would go. He never had one accident, was very gentle with Lyndsey and never broke another thing in our house.Buddy also has this weird obsession wit hall the collars we buy him. Like the one he was wearing when he came to the shelter, it was pink, and he loves to wear it. He will go to his bin and pull out a random collar collar to wear for the day... I love his little quirks! He is the perfect match for us, because Lyndsey loves to switch his collars almost every hour(:

Harley * ADOPTED*

Harley-IN NOW AWAITING HIS BRIGHT FUTURE WITH A FAMILY ON A HUGE FARM WHERE HE'LL BE ABLE TO RUN AND CHASE WHATEVER HE FEELS LIKE CHASING, THE FAMILY IS CONCERNED ABOUT TAKING HARLEY INTO THEIR HOME BECAUSE THAY HAVE 12 CATS AND 17 KITTENS AT THE MOMENT THAT WONDER AROUND. HARLEY BEING A BIG, GOOFY DOG HE IS COULD EASILY TREAT THEM LIKE CHEW TOYS... EVEN THOUGH HE IS THE MOST COZIEST, GENTLE DOGS I KNOW TO COME INTO A SHELTER! I HOPE HE CAN GO HOME SOON!!!- (Here is Harley's story)-He is a beautiful 70 lb pooch with lots of love. He would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard or a farm to run and play on. He needs further obedience as he only knows "Sit" and not very well. He loves people and needs a home where he with get the love and attention he deserves! He is still getting used to his name, as he was just called "Harley" for a few days. I went to open his kennel, because he was barking up a storm. I noticed there was no info. on him. I asked the lady and she said he was a perfectly healthy dog, that just showed up at the shelter door one rainy morning wearing a Harley Davidson collar. No one showed up to claim him and they didn't know what to call him. So, a few days ago he came up to me in the back dog run, and he just looked like a Harley to me. He responds well to this name so far. I will try and get some pic.s posted soon of him in his new home! :)
