Toby was rescued as a pup from a puppy farm and was fostered until he came to us at eight months. His high spirits got him returned by a couple that tried to adopt him, but this funny little rascal was just perfect for us! He makes every day an adventure. He is a joy and a constant source of entertainment for us and for our other sweet dachsie Riley, who is also a rescue. Toby' favorite activity is to steal ice cubes when they hit the floor in the kitchen and store them under our bed for later!

Riley, a miniature black dachshund, is the most gentle and loving dog ever. He was left in the backyard of a home when the couple got a divorce, and was there for weeks before being discovered. He had heartworms and went through two difficult heartworm treatments before being cured! He is tiny and very quiet and timid normally, but when his daddy gets out the leash to take him on a walk with his new little brother Toby, he sings out loudly and clearly with joyful yelps! We adore this little fellow!
