Gem is an awesome dog. She is a Leader Dogs For The Blind mom dog, which means she has puppies that will become future guide dogs. Gem is very mellow and sweet. She absalutely LOVES food. When we got her she was 20lb over weight from her previous owner (Leader Dog took her away from that family)Don't let her fool you though!!! Gem can be a very mischievous girl!!! She stole a christmas ornament off the tree!! Gem loves to roll in the snow. She's not the typical lab. She only goes in water if it's 90+ out side! She doesn't enjoy bathes either. She won't even walk on the grass in the morning if it's dewy! We love Gem and couldn't ask for a better dog!!!

This is Henry. He loves to play in the leaves and go for walks! He loves to wrestle with Gem, and is very spazzy. Henry is always eager to go for a ride, or swim! He is very sweet and loveable. Henry's a one of a kind mutt!

In Loving MemoryGem is a Leader Dog Mom, so her job is to have future leader dogs! She's had 3 litters in her life time, but only one with us! Gem had a very difficult labor/birth. She lost 4 puppies out of 10, 1 to a severe cleft pallet, 3 because they got stuck. But lets focus of the 6 happy, healthy pups! On July 2 all 5 of Gem's puppies went to Leader dog, where the got a check up and they stayed there until their new puppy raisers picked them up :)
