Baron is the result of a late night encounter. His mother was a Shepherd mix, and his dad was M.I.A. At first we were thinking Blue Heeler, but as he has grown, his body says something quite different. He has the longest, lankiest legs I've ever seen. Since I picked him up for free out by vacant fields, we're thinking his dad was possibly a Coyote, as they are quite common here in Texas. It doesn't matter what he is though, he has the sweetest personality, and will follow me wherever I go. We are inseparable. Unfortuantely, Baron was diagnosed with a congenital disease called Megaesophagus. It basically renders his esophagus completely useless, so he has to be fed doggy "smoothies" in a cute little custom-made doggy highchair! It's well worth it though because I love my little Bear. :)
