Profile: After two weeks of marriage, my wife and I decided that things had settled down, and we needed a puppy. We kept an eye out for listings on the Broward County Humane Society shelter website (in Florida). A litter of "border collie mix" puppies was posted one day, and the next morning, as I was getting ready for work, there was only one puppy left. My wife raced to the shelter, and Penelope has been our little friend ever since.

She's a true dog. Loves sitting in the grass in the sun, sleeping on our bed, chewing bones, playing fetch, and givin' kisses. The Humane Society called her a "border collie mix." We recently had a DNA breed test performed for her, and her results were 37-74% Siberian Husky (Big shock, but she's got the personality), and 10-19% each of the following: Dachshund, Parson Russell Terrier, Bull Terrier, and Pekingese (What?!).View Profile
