Puppy: No Puppies
Profile: Hello, my name is Krystal Nutter. Me and my husband meet in August of 2007, shortly after we agreed to buy a puppy. We didn't just any puppy but a German Shepard. We looked through the local trader and found our puppy. We named him Kratos after a charcter in a video game. After only having Kratos close to two months he chased a cat across the road and was hit by a full size truck that killed him. The pain that my husband I felt was unlike any other pain we had endured. After days going by coming home and the cage being empty, not being able to do the daily routine of letting the dog out to potty, absolutely broke our hearts. So my husband and I agreed we needed another one, one that wasnt to replace but one to be able to give the love that we so desperatly needed to give. So our new search began. We wanted one at six weeks old, and all we were finding were over six months old. Until we found what we were looking for. So we went at his six weeks old mark and we could not decide on which one we had 8-9 to choose from. We were looking for a female but we went home with two. A male for us and a female for his mom. Learning about now our new addition to our family, Kasey. He was born on the same day my husband proposed and oddly at the same time. I think that Kasey is meant to be a part of our family because he is the glue that holds us together. Sadly to say on Feb 23, he ran into a truck hit the side door, with the fear of what happened before he has survied and seems to be doing fine. A little less calm...he is over a year old now and still acts like that six week puppy we brought home.
