My owner wanted company for Barnie! I am a very fast, affectionate border collie crossbreed. My owners think I am crossed with a borzoi because of my unusual fur, long face and how fast I am. I came to my owners a cute little puppy, and it took ages before they could decide on a name for me! First I was Lily and then I was Pebbles and eventually I was Abbie! I am very affectionate and just love cuddles. I love to lick everyone and am very demanding. I am the sweetest dog though, and just love absolutely everyone. I also like to jump up at everyone, which isn't always appreciated! I am amazingly good at flyball and used to be in the top team! I am starting to slow down a bit as I get older, but still love it more than ever! I am also very fast at the beach, running and playing and chasing all the birds. I am just so much fun hehe! This dog is very special. She may not live with me, but I do see her all the time. She is the sweetest dog in the world, and I always get a good face-licking whenever I see her, which isn't always very appreciated haha! She is just so pretty and fun, she really is very special. So devoted, so affectionate and so cuddly. Not the most confident dog, or the friendliest around other dogs but definantly the cutest, prettiest, most unusual and the fastest! What a cool dog! =)

what my humans like most about me I am the clown of the bunch! I love making everyone laugh, and am always doing that with my craziness! I am very energetic for a basset and just love to go for long walks with my mum! Typical of a basset, I also love to sleep just as much:). I love chasing rabbits and birds, and in the summer me and Ernie have great fun! I love everyone, but can be a bit grumpy when other dogs try and get me to play with them or sniff me too much. This dog is one very amazing dog and has taught me a lot. She is the one that has surprised me the most training-wise. She was just unbelievably stubborn and refused to work. She was highly motivated with food but didnt realise that to get the food she had to work. I once read that there is no such thing as a stubborn dog, just a un-motivated one. Lola taught me that this is completely untrue. This may be true for some dogs, but there is such a thing as a stubborn dog and I know that all too well:). Once Lola figured that to get the treat she actually had to work tricks became easy, but it was a long process. Training paw took 2 weeks, and then after that every next trick only took a few training sessions! You really can train any dog with clicker training, you just need plenty of time and patience! She is extremely energetic for a basset hound. She loves long walks, and in the winter sometimes comes on mine and Ernie and/or Indi's long 2/3/4/5 hour walks. It does get a bit much for her in the summer, but she happily trots along behind sniffing and enjoying herself in the winter! She turns heads everywhere she goes, and is always happy for a bit of extra attention! She is so soppy, and such a clown. She looves cuddles, and looves learning new things. She gets bored very quickly, so training sessions are always kept very short and upbeat. My crazy basset, my clown, my dopy Lola:).

I am a very sweet little Jack russell. I came to my owners unexpected and, along with Ernie, was the first and only small dog they'd ever owned. I am the handsome one out of me and Ernie! Ernie has the brains and I have the looks. Ernie's mum has tried to teach me tricks but Im not very food motivated or toy motivated. I can do fantastic heelwork though tehe! I am also being trained to do flyball and it's going ok!! Ernie's mum also competed with me in juniour handler and we came 1st! She was so proud of me! It was the first thing I had ever competed in and I did fantastic! I am just so sweet and love cuddles and playing! I love going for walks and am just so sweet!! Everyone loves me and I love everyone! I am quite nervous around other people, but once I know them I love them!! I am just so cute and my owners love me to pieces!

He was only in my life for a short time, but I'm sure that the last two months of his life he spent with us were the best two months of his life. He had been too about 6 other homes before us. He had the best time living with us. He went on lots of walks, loved to lounge on the sofa's and just loved to cuddle up. He only ever ran once with us, as he wasn't much of a runner and would rather just sniff but that one time I saw him running across the field at full speed he looked so happy and I will treasure that memory forever. I'll never forget the way he would come and wake me up in the morning and curl up with me. He was the hairiest basset I have ever met, and definantly the softest! I would give anything for one last cuddle. I still love you and still miss you so much. You left your mark in the house, and I will always remember you for your cuddles, your softness and the way every now and then you had a funny 5 and made everyone laugh. I don't understand how someone could have beaten you, broken your ribs in the process, thrown you out and just left you. You were one amazing dog, and will always be in my heart.

I am the Border Collie with the amazing blue eyes! I always get attention wherever I go, and am just so unique! A lot of people don't like my eyes, but my owners think they are stunning, which of course they are:). I used to compete in agility and flyball but am now retired. I still compete in fun flyagility every now and then with Ernie's mum and we both have great fun! I have won many rosettes in my life, won a show with my amazing eyes and been to hundreds of competitions all over Britain. I am now enjoying my retirement, but I still get to go to the competitions for fun and go for long walks down the beach :). This dog means a lot to me. He doesnt live with me, but he is the dog that introduced me to the world of flyball and dog training. He is the first dog I ever competed with in anything, and for that I will always love him. He taught me a lot and showed me how amazing BC's are! I have competed with him in flyball, agility, obedience and flyagility. I have probably won more rosettes with him than I have with my own dogs. Of course, rosettes were never my aim it was just to have fun with my dog. Now I have my own dogs in training and if it wasn't for Barnie I would never have become as obsessed with flyball as I am. He really is such a special dog. I may not live with him, but he has taught me so much, taken me to so many places and given me so much experience. He made me fall in love with BC's along with Ben and I just hope I get the chance to own my very own BC one day that will be as amazing as Barnie is!

This dog was one very special boy. He was the most affectionate, loving, cuddly dog I could have ever asked for. He was my first ever dog, and meant everything to me. He was always there for a cuddle, and even up until his very last few walks would chase balls along with Ernie! He could make me feel better by just being there, resting his head on my knee and looking up at me with his big brown eyes. He was my first ever dog, and my first ever real experience of death. He was born around the same time as me, and died when we were both 14. He was there throughout my whole childhood, right from when I was only 8 months old. He was also 8 months old. He had been there for as long as I could remember. He meant so much to me. Losing him was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I'll always cherish the memories. I can remember we were on a walk and I slipped over, he carried on walking before realising I wasn't behind and then turned and came running up to me. Not long before you died, we went on one of our last walks and I can remember throwing the stone for Ernie and I can remember you went running after it as well. I would give anything in the world to go for one last walk with you. He came to us as a free unwanted puppy. His previous owners didnt understand the breed and he was apparently too hyper and naughty. Yes he was, at first but then with lots of training he turned into the most amazing dog we could have ever asked for. He was so loyal and just loved absolutely everyone. When on walks, and someone wanted to stroke him he would go all waggy tail up to them and put his head on there knee. On 19th November 2007, I woke to the sound of him collapsing. I can remember seeing him just lying there, helpless and just burst out crying. I'll never forget that awful day. He looked so helpless it was awful. Then, the doorbell went and he got up. We all felt a little tinge of hope then, but then we saw he couldnt move. Later that morning the hard decision was made to put him to sleep. I will never forget that one last cuddle we had. The feel of your fur and those gorgeous brown eyes looking up at me. I'll never forget walking away from you and just trying so hard to stop the tears. Then, throughout the day I can remember thinking to myself 'this isn't real, it can't be' over and over to the point where I actually believed it. I can remember walking home and before I even saw my house, I just burst into tears because it was real. Then walking into a house of just 3 dogs was unbearable. There was such a big hole for weeks. It has now been 2 years since he died, and I still miss him so much. He was just such an amazing dog, so calm so well-behaved and so affectionate. He loved everyone, and was so happy all the time. I would give anything for one last cuddle with him, he was just such an amazing dog. You will always be in my heart. You were my first dog, my first experience of death and my first rescue dog. You were my best friend, my childhood dog, my Ben. I still love you and miss you so much. You are now free from pain, and can run for miles and miles. I love you, and you will always be in my heart until we meet again.

I came to my mum very unexpectedly. She had been looking for a new puppy for some time, and had even had a Labrador puppy lined up. Then me and my brother desperately needed a home, and after meeting my brother from a previous litter a year earlier and falling in love, my mum ended up with me:). I was very nervous at first, and just didnt trust anyone. My mum started training me basic obedience and tricks but when she tried to teach me paw she just couldnt. Thats when she discovered clicker training, and we havent looked back since... This dog is such an amazing little dog. He came with a lot of problems, he was scared of everything and everyone, had no recall around other dogs and had no trust in me at all. Thats when I discovered clicker training, and together me and Ernie discovered the world of positive dog training. We got addicted to tricks, and now Ernie knows absolutely tonnes of tricks and is always amazing me with what he can do. Tricks taught Ernie everything. Tricks taught him everything he needed to know obedience-wise and now his obedience is the best out of all our dogs. Tricks taught Ernie to have body awareness which helps him with agility and flyball. They taught him to be confident and to trust me. The more tricks he learnt, the more confident he became in everything he did. He loves performing tricks, and so tricks taught him that I was way more fun than any of them other dogs. As a side-effect Ernie is amazingly fast at flyball and agility, has fantastic body awareness and is very flexible and strong. When I first got him I had so many people tell me how to train him and that he would never be able to do anything more advanced than give his paws. I never ever gave up on him, I came close to it when things got too difficult, but I am so glad I didnt. He used to be so nervous of people holding him and new places to be able to do flyball. Then I trained him to do agility using logs down the woods as jumps, and it really boosted his confidence. Then, one day at a flyball comp the leader asked me if I wanted to put him in starters. He had had absolutely no training, but I could run up with him along the side so I said yeah. Everyone else was laughing and telling me he'd never do it. To be honest, I never believed he'd do it either. He sure proved everyone wrong, and competed fantastically! We came 4th altogether, boy was I proud and boy did everyone else eat there words! Now he competes whenever he can, and sometimes does a bit of agility too. He proved everyone wrong, and showed that he really can do anything. He has taken me to so many places, shown me so much and taught me so much. He's the first dog thats my own that Ive competed in a dog sport competition with. He has taught me how to train dogs and taught me to never give up. It took me 2 years to get Ernie to the point where he could be let off-lead around other dogs and compete in flyball and agility. Before I got Ernie I wasnt a big fan of the JRT but fell in love with his brother from a previous litter. Now I dont think I will ever be without a JRT they sure have won over my heart. Ernie is my absolute perfect dog and I dont know what I would have done without him. He is my very best friend and comes for hours and hours of walks with me. He comes just about everywhere with me and is just such a cool little dog. He loves everything he does, and loves telling the world how much fun hes having. He loves working for me, and everything we do together is just for fun. I dont do flyball, agility or obedience for the results, just for the fun and so Ernie gets to do what he loves. He is my absolute superstar, my very best friend and the best dog in the entire world in my opinion. There will never be another dog quite like Ernie, he is a one in a million. I feel so lucky to have him in my life:) The dog with the craziest ears in the world, the dog that proved everyone wrong, my crazy, one in a million little Ernie:)

I am a rescue border collie and am very nervous. I had my leg broken when I was a puppy by a labrador charging into me. I am a lot better now, but am not very friendly, until you get to know me! Once I know you I am the sweetest, most affectionate little collie you can get! I also love flyball and can run for Ernie's mum as well as my own! I am quite fast as well! I am very good at obedience and will do anything for food! This dog has been through so much in her life. Flyball has really helped her break out of her shell, and she is now trustworthy around just about everyone. She not only runs for her mum (my nan) but also me. She is completely friendly with everyone she knows and is happy to work for anyone she knows. She is an amazing dog, and I do love her. I have watched her grow up from this nervous puppy that used to launch out at cars, children and anything out of the ordinary. Now she is so much more confident and every now and then has a problem, but 90% of the time is completely fine. She loves to run, play and is just such a character. What a sweet dog!

I am purebred working English Cocker Spaniel crossed with a purebred working English Springer Spaniel. I have absolutely tonnes of energy, and love going for long walks down the beach and swimming in the sea! I love playing flyball and have now started running and racing for Ernie's mum! I am such a sweet boy, and just love absolutely everyone! This dog is very special to me, even if he doesnt live with me. I spent a lot of time with him as a puppy, I went camping in Wales with him for 10 days and carried him everywhere and helped socialise him:). I have recently started running and racing him in flyball and he loves working for me:). I have also taught him a couple of tricks such as giving paws and waving. He is such a smart boy and just loves learning new things! He is such a sweet dog, with such a comical personality. He loves absolutely everyone, and loves to play! When I first got Indi, Indi was just like a Springer Spaniel version of Forest and they were, and still are, unbelievably alike! They also both love eachother a lot and love giving kisses to eachother:). He is such a cool dog, and I still love him a lot. He loves working, playing and is very willing to please. He has the most unique look in the world, and has the coolest ears in the world:).

I am one very special Springer Spaniel. My owner first met me at just a few days old. My doggy mum was too old to cope with 14 puppies, and so my human mum helped the breeder out by looking after 7 puppies for a day at a time so my doggy mum only had 7 puppies to cope with at a time. She hand fed us, and watched us grow. When we were old enough to leave our doggy mum, the breeder said she could keep one of us for helping look after us. My owner had taken to me straight away and now here I am! I am very affectionate and just love to give cuddles with everyone! I am also very smart and know a few tricks! My heelwork is amazing and I can do spins and crawl. My obedience is also fantastic. I have competed a few times and done really well. I also compete in agility and absolutely love it. I sometimes get side-tracked, but most of the time I have a great time and do really well! Flyball doesn't really work for me as I just dont have an interest in tennis balls. I also love to run and run. I love chasing birds and rabbits. I am also very fast and have so much fun! I am just so much fun! This dog does mean a lot to me. He may not live with me but he has been to a lot of places with me, and I have competed with him in agility and have taken him for a few walks on my own. I've been all the way to Wales with him and we went to the beach, and even though he was a spaniel he wouldn't go anywhere near the sea! It was very funny. He is just so cute and I love him a lot. I remember seeing him when he was just a few weeks old, he was so cute. He is so hilarious and comical. When I was at flyball, and I was walking him, Forest, Ernie and Indi he ran to the flyball ring, sat there and just watched me. Then, he came speeding towards us at full speed and he just looked so cute. He is very funny and just has so much character. He is such a fun dog, loves everyone and is so playful. He loves to be chased, and is just so happy and cute. What a fun, cute dog he is! He really is one very very special dog =)

He was only in my life a very short time but he really left his mark. He was so loud and so comical. He loved to steal things and then go and hide under the bed with them. He loved his walks, and when you ran with him he would just bark alongside you. He probably had the best last few months of his life with us. We were around his 4th or 5th home. The house was so quiet without him. You were one special dog. You were the loudest, funniest and maddest basset hound I have ever met. I can't believe someone just threw you out. I'll always remember going camping with you and when I was ill you stayed with me and kept me warm in the tent. Then, when I was better I'll never forget running with you and you barking along with me. I'd give anything to have one last cuddle. I still love you and miss you so much.

I am the cutest, cheekiest but sweetest dog in the house! I am the puppy of the house, along with Kez in her house:). I am growing up fast, but mum says I am maturing very slowly, hehe:). I absolutely adore teddies, balls, and just about any toy there is! I loove to run, and love nothing more than a good run around the field, or down the beach! I loove learning tricks and then performing them, especially spinning its just so much fun! This dog is the most challenging dog I've ever owned, but he sure has taught me a lot. We got him after we were discussing getting another dog, but in a few years time. On the exact day we said this, my nan (Kez and her groups owner) came over with a little 8 week old springer puppy! I can remember playing with him in my nan's garden and saying to him 'I wish you were mine'. My wish came true... As we had been discussing getting another dog, and as my nan already had 6 dogs she decided to give him to us! It was destiny:). He sure has not been the easiest dog. He gets distracted unbelievably easily, and gets bored very easily. Even so, he still loves learning new things and learnt to sit within about 3 days of living with us. By the time he was about 9 weeks old he could already wave and give both paws! He loves performing his tricks, and has such speed and enthusiasm for them! The only thing we've had trouble training is pulling on the lead. He just looves to pull, but slowly he is learning that pulling on the lead really doesnt get him anywhere

I am a very cute little lurcher, border collie, jack russell crossbreed. My owners aren't entirely sure what breed I am, but I am very cute. We were an unexpected litter of puppies and nobody wanted us. My owner fostered me, and after a while decided to keep me! I am very cute and love everyone! I have already started clicker training with Ernie's mum and I love it! I have learnt to beg and give paw so far! I love to jump on everyone and bite there noses, which is not always appreciated! My ears have a mind of there own, and my owners think its soo cute! I am completely mad, and just love everyone. I love to play, learn new things and just have as much fun as possible! I am the newest addition to the family after Indi! I live with Barnie, Abbie, Fudge, Fizz, Forest and Alfie. When Indi comes to visit and we go for long walks together we just play and play! Me and Indi love eachother as we are both the babies of the house and get on brilliantly! I also love to play with Forest and Alfie but they sometimes get annoyed! She is a real character, and very very naughty! She loves to jump on everyone, loves to play with everyone but also has a tendecy to nip. We are working on this at the moment and so far doing really well. She is such a fast learner, especially with clicker training! She is just so sweet, completely mad but of course those are my favourite dogs! She loves to tug and is amazingly good at it! Our journey has only just begun...

I am the most loyal, affectionate and sweetest dog my owners could have ever asked for. I have been through a lot in my lifetime. When I was just a few months old I was diagnosed with severe hip displacia and was in a lot of pain. They were told I wouldn't be able to go for walks unless I had hip replacements. As I was still only a puppy, they decided it would only be fair that they gave me the best chance in life. I had two hip replacements. It meant I wouldn't be able to do things such as flyball, agility or go for long long walks but at least I could still go on walks. I love my walks and will run and run. I will chase balls and will do anything for my owners. I may not be able to do flyball or agility but I am fantastic at obedience. I will sit and wait reliably anywhere with any distractions. I can't do down because of my hips but it doesnt stop me doing everything else. I have a perfect recall and can have brilliant heelwork, when I want! My owner is just so happy with me. With everything I've been through in my life, I can be quite nervous. I really don't like the hoover and hate it when there is a change. I am the quietest, sweetest dog in the world in the house. When I'm out, it's another story! I suddenly turn into this mad, bouncy dog.
