More Allie

I'm Allie, a Mini Australian Shepard. I picked my owners when they came to visit on my 9th week birthday. I kept coming to them and following them around until they took me home. I never cried once, I let them sleep all night! I am very vocal and now that I will be 2 in the spring of 2010 I have accomplished quite a bit in my short life. I am learning search and rescue, I have traveled to 7 states and am the best little traveler. I have learned many commands and even though I am a Mini Aussie don't underestimate my jumping ability. I can jump the biggest logs and do flip turns. I often jump straight up and down to get my owners attention! I bring my mom her shoes on command and my kong as well. I love to bring mom her snowboots as that means snow fun!

Pirate- Memorial

Pirate was our dog we lost last year-07. He was Blue Heeler (Australian Queensland Cattle Dog). We had him since the day he was born! He was 15. Perfectly obedient, protective and loyal to the end. The only reason he is tied up in the pic is because was nearly deaf, blind and had alzheimers. These are the last pics of him when I got the digital.

Dixie

Dixie was a Aussie/GSD mix that we got when she was 9 months old. She was friendly, protective and obedient. She would go nuts whenever we brought the saddles out to ride, that was her favorite thing to do. She loved kids and when our 3 yr boy tried to ride her, she was great. Never would hurt a child at all even when she had cancer and was in pain she would lay on the front porch and beg the kids to come play with her. We lost her 9 years ago and still love her very much.

I was picked up by my new owners and stayed at my new Aunts house (A Daily Puppy Member) the first night as my owners had to travel to pick me up. I love my big sis Allie and travelled very well to my new home far away. I was very quiet in my crate and only whimpered to potty which dad found a safe place for me to go as I haven't had all my vacs yet. I took to the leash quickly at just 9 weeks of age and already come to my name. Mom says I have show pedigree in me, I don't know what that means, but I hope it is fun! Update: Ice is a big boy now and to doubters whose comments I delete, He is very real and very pretty. I have pics posted on the forums "It's a dogs life" and other threads. The jumping pic is MINE, I am a hobby photographer and won first place with that picture....woo hooo!! It took me a dozen times to get that perfect shot and it hangs in my house today. All those pics ARE the same dog and now that we live on a farm, expect more pics to show up on the forums.
