Profile: Hi, I have been in the dog world for a very long time! I studied Vet Med in College and worked as a Animal Care Tech (I should have finished Vet School instead of getting married!) I was lucky enough to work as the Animal Care Specialist Behaviourist for our State ASPCA. We moved back into the country, I had to quit. We are empty nesters who are in our 50's, proud to say and love spending time hanging out. After we lost our last dog, I went through dog withdrawls, I guess true dog people can't be without too long. I found a Mini Aussie and fell in love with her. She has been a blast and it's fun having a young one in the house again. I specialize in training with the "working dog", such as Heelers, Borders and Aussies. My favorites! We call the Mountain West in the USA our home.

I'm Allie, a Mini Australian Shepard. I picked my owners when they came to visit on my 9th week birthday. I kept coming to them and following them around until they took me home. I never cried once, I let them sleep all night! I get several walks a day, I have neighbour kids who come and play and I have a cat who tolerates me! I have learned to sit/stay, shake, watch me, lay down, drop down, leave it, release it, here, bring it and of course the word "treat" is my favorite. I love to carry around sticks or my leash when walking. I hope to learn agility and catch a frisbee. I am nearly housebroke and love to bark to go out, sometimes I admit I do bark just to go for a walk! My owners really love me and they have given me lots of toys and chews. I don't chew on their furniture or shoes, I sleep in my exercise pen just fine. I not afraid of the thunder but I do get nervous when other dogs bark at me! My owners look out for me and love to take me places. I have 40 acres of field behind my house to run and play however, my owners keep saying something about it being covered with snow one day, I don't know what snow is?

Pirate- Memorial
In Loving MemoryPirate was our dog we lost last year-07. He was Blue Heeler (Australian Queensland Cattle Dog). We had him since the day he was born! He was 15. Perfectly obedient, protective and loyal to the end. The only reason he is tied up in the pic is because was nearly deaf, blind and had alzheimers. These are the last pics of him when I got the digital.

In Loving MemoryDixie was a Aussie/GSD mix that we got when she was 9 months old. She was friendly, protective and obedient. She would go nuts whenever we brought the saddles out to ride, that was her favorite thing to do. She loved kids and when our 3 yr boy tried to ride her, she was great. Never would hurt a child at all even when she had cancer and was in pain she would lay on the front porch and beg the kids to come play with her. We lost her 9 years ago and still love her very much.
