AKA Boogie came into our lives while I was down in Bakersfield on business. My daughter's friends dog had puppies. My daughter begged me to go look at him, but for a couple of days I refused. It wasn't long before her pleading finally got the best of me. As I entered the house, there sat in front of me the cutest puppy I'd ever seen. His big brown eyes peering up at me, sitting like a perfect little gentleman as his tail swished back and forth dusting the ground beneath him... "He had me at hello". I then spent the remainder of that day and night trying to convince my boyfriend. After my constant pleading and being a dog lover himself, he finally agreed that I should bring him home, however, between the time I left the breeders house and my boyfriend saying yes, the breeder had found someone else to take him. I was heart broken, but, as luck would have it, the person never showed to pick him up. Bugatti has been a cherished and valued member of our family every since. He is highly intelligent, very outgoing and loves everyone and everything. My life hasn't been the same and I am thankful everyday that I listened to my daughter :-)

I decided to get Mishka as a gift to my boyfriend to lesson the pain he would feel when his 15 yr old Sibe passed. So, we drove 7 hours in flooding rain, literally, flooding, to pick up this angel with horns. Her photo stole our hearts and that's when we quickly made the arrangements to get her. The drive home was long, another 7 hours. Once there it took her all but 3.5 seconds to steal every toy our other dogs had and defend them with her life. Within the first week, she discovered the kitchen stool and quickly found her way to the counter top. After a couple of months she realized she could practically fly, and boy did she as she opened our baby gate, leading to the hall which connected to our bedroom. Before there was time to take cover, she jumped from the door to the bed and landed smack square on my face, her nail digging into my eye lid, leaving it bloody and swollen. Needless to say, the training began as soon as I was able to open both eyes. Mishka now proudly displays a shiny halo. Yes, her horns try now and again to show, but for the most part, she has become the angel she was meant to be. Being raised with Chihuahuas, I'm pretty sure, she thinks she is one. She doesn't seem to understand why she too can't fit on the couch with everyone else. Mishka is now a year old and has become a deep rooted part of our family of odd balls. She loves to play tug a war and can dive under our living room chair faster than you can blink. She knows when she's been bad and is quick to argue back. She now knows the commands: Sit-up, shake, lay down, and speak.
