Profile: I am a dog lover through and through and I know quite a bit about the breeds. I read about dogs, and see dogs every day, besides my own. I do my little Piper's grooming. I take care of dogs as my job, because I adore them so much. Things weren't always that way though. When we first got Maggie, I was afraid of dogs, but then I grew to love Maggie. Then we got Piper toward the end of Maggie's life. I was glad to have Piper when Maggie passed. Poodles are very sensetive to your emotions, and Piper made me feel better.

I first met Oreo (Piper) when she was two. She belonged to my friends who had three kids including a young girl who was just three years old. A few months after I first met Oreo, her owner called me and said that the dog was having accidents in the house and was scared of the little girl. We set a date to meet, but when the day finally came, she couldn't do it since her daughter was so upset. We went on Petfinder and found a different poodle, and I was about to get him, when Oreo's owner called again to say that she really needed me to take the dog. I renamed the dog Piper, and she is the best dog ever! Piper loves snuggling on the couch or on your lap in the most awkward positions. Outdoors: she is really good at fetch and very playful. She loves other dogs and people. She is very smart and can sit, lie down, roll over, beg, spin, crawl, speak and more. People often come up to me and say 'I just have to hold her.' She just loves the attention. I sometimes tell people I would like to run her through the copy machine so other people could have one. She goes everywhere with me and she loves the car. She just curls up in my lap until we get where we are going. She's a tiny thing weighing in at around 5 pounds.View Profile
We adopted Maggie around age 3. She was a great dog! Our first dog as a family and at the time I was afraid of dogs. I appreciate Maggie for being the reason I now love dogs. She loved to run and was just an all around joy to be around. I will miss you MaggieView Profile
Munchkin (Munchie) is about 2 years old, has a lot of energy, and loves people. She loves toys too and she tosses them up in the air and catches them. She runs so cutely since she has a long body. She is very muscular and she weighs somewhere between 15-20 Pounds.View Profile
Zeke (Pie Pie) is the old man of the family. He can't hear or see well, but we love him! He loves to wiggle under the blankets. If you hold the blanket up, he will crawl right under it. Sometimes you don't even know he is under there, and then he moves and it startles you. He weighs about 10 pounds.View Profile
Snoopy (Snoop Dawg) is about 6 years old and loves his treats. He barks and wiggles his head back and forth excitedly. He walks with a cute little prance which is classic Italian Greyhound behavior. He also likes to hide under the blankets. He weighs about 15 pounds.View Profile
Kit Kat is our new addition. She was found scratching on the door of a friends house. We took her in and have gone through many avenues to try and find her owner: we contacted the SPCA, posted on multiple websites, contacted the vets in the area because she had a surgery, and talked to people in the area she was found in. She had no collar, so no tag, and we checked and she is not microchipped. She also had and infected surgery, but we got antibiotics from the vet and it has healed well. She was terrified when she first came and we had to coax her so much to get her in the house. But I have earned her trust and she has become my shadow. She seems to be very adaptable and I love her very much. She has a deviated septum or crooked nose, but I usually refer to it as crooked jaw, since that is more visible. She breathes like darth vader, but I love it! She's perfectly happy and not in pain, so no worries. She loves to run and sometimes she runs so fast that she can't make a turn, so she does another lap around the house. It makes me laugh. She always looks like she's smiling.View Profile
