Profile: I have always loved dogs, but i had more of a love for smaller dogs, dachshunds to be more specific. My true love of dogs started when i started working at Dogtopia, the dog day care. I fell in love with SO many breeds of dogs and started seeing how different they all are. I couldnt imagine my life without working at Dogtopia. I always have so much fun and love seeing all the dogs play!

Paxton is now a year old! I adopted him in January of 2010 from a high kill shelter in the south. His first day he did nothing but slept, which fooled me for sure. Now hes unstoppable. Constantly moving and chewing and playing. He is high energy but so loving. I cant imagine my life without him. He is definitely my best friend and stays by my side all the time. Paxton loves going to dog day care at Dogtopia of Dulles and has made best friends with lots of other dogs. He loves treats and catching raindrops and snowflakes on his tongue. His best friend at home is our new adopted stray cat Buddy, who loves to snuggle with Paxton (as you can see in one of his 1 year photos).View Profile
Finley (or Finn) is a 6 month old Lab/Shepherd mix who was adopted in July of 2011. He loves food, all kinds of food, and will do almost ANY trick for food. Finley gets very excited when he hears the word "sit" because he knows he's about to get a treat! His mom works at Dogtopia Day Care, so when she is working, he gets to play! He loves any other dog, and people too! His favorite things are squeaky toys, anything from the big black box (the refrigerator), and getting to play with his friends!View Profile
Petey was picked up by Animal Control and moved to the Humane Society when he was 1 year old. He had grown into his collar, and required a surgery to remove it, leaving him with a scar all the way around his neck. After spending 14 months in the shelter, he was adopted and given a home. 9 months later, he was dropped back off at the shelter because his family was moving and did not want to take him. I work at the Humane Society, and after 3 weeks, I knew I could not leave him there any longer. He loves snuggling and sitting in everyones laps. He loves going to the dog park, too (even though sometimes I think it's just to get pet by everyone). Petey has been with me for a few weeks, and I could not love him any more than I do. He has been a wonderful addition to my home, and I can't wait to give him a life full of everything he missed as a puppy.View Profile
