Riddick was born February 19th, 2009 in Burnaby BC. My husband and I bought our townhouse also in Februbary 2009. We decided in at the end of March to get a puppy. We thought a puppy would be best since our cat Max, was already 8 years old and since we wanted a large dog it would not be fair to adopt an older dog. So I started to search the shelters, craigslist, the buy & sell for Lab puppies. The shelters had none. So finally on April 27th I found a couple selling black and chocolate Lab puppies. I went that night. I checked out all four male black puppies and out of the four Riddick chose me by lying on my feet when I put him down. He has been my baby ever since. He is now just over two and is the most wonderful dog ever.
