Profile: Devoted dog lover/trainer/rescuer in the Wichita, KS area. Originally from Texas, but making my home here in Wichita for the last 10 years. 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 teenaged girls, and 1 spouse make up our home. Oh, yeah, don't forget the tarantula!

Hooch was born the day after Christmas in 2002. His mother was a foster dog I had taken in to help her find a forever home. Unknown to me, she was pregnant with 16 puppies! We found homes for all the pups and mama, but I couldn't let little Hooch go. He has been the best boy a woman could ask for.

Suzi came to me in May. She is the third dog in our household. My other two dogs are aged 9 & 10, so a puppy is quite an adventure! I've had my other 2 dogs since they were puppies, but it's easy to forget! Suzi is so smart! She already knows her basic commands and walks well on a leash.I am looking forward to many happy years with her.

I adopted Maggie from the Humane Society of Wichita KS on December 8, 2001. We had just moved to KS, and I wanted a dog. Maggie and her sister had just been spayed, so I couldn't meet her, but I have always loved herding breeds and I put a deposit down to hold her. The next day I came in with my 2 daughters to meet her. Love at first lick! She has been a devoted companion to my family for 10 years.
