Bonzai
Meet Bonzai, a border collie x blue heeler puppy! She had a rough start in life and was scared of everyone and everything, but she has really come out of her shell. Her favourite games are fetch, annoying big sister Shenzi, chewing on dad, spending time with mom at work and anything that involves meeting new people. She's very smart and could play all day, but is quite happy to relax and watch tv in the evenings with her family.

Shenzi
Shenzi, who is now a sweet old senior citizen, has been with me since she was four. She is a gentle, kind dog who grumbles and grumps and wants her way but is all talk and would never hurt a fly. When playing with her little sister Bonzai she never uses her mouth, and though she weighs twice as much she never hurts Bonzai when she pins her. She is also remarkable tolerant of Bonzai when she tries to "heel" her, though you can certainly see it is not appreciated! She's still spry for her age and I hope she has a few good years left.

Chase
In Loving MemoryChase was my soulmate, my best friend. He could read my mind, I never had to tell him what I expected of him. He wasn't my dog, he was my companion and an equal, to consider him otherwise was an insult. We respected and loved each other unconditionally. When I lost him to cancer in 2003 I lost a huge part of me. As the years go by it gets a bit easier, but sometimes it feels like I lost him yesterday. I miss you, my dear old boy... :(
