Dixie is a rescue puppy who came to us in 2005. She is a sweet girl who was abandoned on a farm in Arkansas. Eleventh Hour Rescue saw her as adoptable and took her from a kill shelter and brought her up north. Her first name was "Peaches" because her foster mom said she is sweet as a peach. She has a beautiful disposition - a real "people" dog who is very smart and very fast. She still has some separation anxiety, but other than that, she's a 100% perfect puppy (well, she's 100% perfect to me anyway!)
