In Loving MemoryThis baby was found tied to a tree in the Cook County Forest Preserves, south of Chicago. She was emaciated and injured. I had gone to a foster home to see a different dog. The other dog totally ignored me. Heidi, however, walked up to me sat down leaning agenst my leg, looked up and sighed. I then fell in love and adopted her! We were inseperable for the next 5 years. She died of cancer of the thyroid with metastisis on Nov. 27, 2010. I still cry (even though we have since adopted another dog) for her.

Schultz was a puppy found in Arkansas and was brought to a high kill shelter. An angel referred him to Wright-Way Rescue in Illinois. My husband and I found him on Petfinder.com. We knew he was our new baby as soon as we saw him! We adopted him and have been spoiling him ever since! We think he is Yellow Lab and our vet thinks he is also part Saluki, but, we are not sure. We are sure he is full of love and "puppy energy"!
