Profile: @codythebc Iââ¬â¢ve had pets all my life. Born and raised with them in my home, have never woke up in my own with an animal ever being there so I dont really know what its like to not have a pet. or to only have one pet.It must be easy though, nothing to clean, less money spent on food, toys and vet bills, nice home and possessions. Despite work and money put into taking care of animals, a life with out them maybe simpler, but in my perspective, not worth it. My life started a little simpler, I was born and raised with a large 80 lb akita and one or two cats. But as I got older it got more complex, I got frogs, lizards, fish, the occasional injured bird or mouse (usually from my cats) that never really made it. Nowadays, I do have dogs and cats, a fish tank, and now I have a small parrot too. Currently looking to adopt another dog. Animals are a big part of my life, and they always will be. Thanks for reading!

Lucky was a border collie we owned. We found her so we didnt know anything about her history. We didnt even know what breed she was until she displayed all the typical border collie behavior problems the breed is known for. She was a great dog, and she passed in the early summer of 2012 and we wish to add another border collie to our family again.View Profile
@codythebc on Instagram Cody is a 21 month old Border Collie. He is the world's sweetest dog with a big heart and a love for laps! Yes he loves to lay on my lap, he enjoys barking at the neighborhood kids on their bikes and taking bottles from the recycle and destroying them. Cody is a good boy and I just cant get past his adorable faceView Profile
Hi!! My name is Rylee! I live here with my family here in New Jersey, i came a long way from what I was, me and my sister ended up in a scary kill shelter in WV, luckily my sister was adopted but I was still there waiting!! scarey!! but once day a nice group of people known as Purrs N' Pups came along, they took me on a long road trip to New Jersey. I was brought with some other dogs to a PetSmart to meet potential adopters when I met my pet parent who worked there and it was love at first site!! then later that day I met my buddy Cody, a border collie like me! We hit it off right then and there. Though the rescue said they had many many inquires to adopt me, they knew that this family was the right one for me! When I first arrived home, I was comfortable already, I felt as if i lived here my whole life. Border collies maybe described as herders with strong instinct to her and with out proper training can be bad pets, but that wasnt me at all, as the rescue said I was a great dog for any situation! A border collie rescue in NY even contact the rescue upset that they wrote such a positive description of me, but it was the truth! Im a happy fun border collie who just loves to have fun while keeping my herding under control with a great off switch! Plus my pet parents are happy with my weight and that I eat well, when I arrived I was thin and boney, not anymore!! But my adventures here have only begun! now Cody and I run our own Instagram account, and summer is coming so we have a lot of adventures ahead of us! follow us on Instagram @codythebcView Profile
