Puppy: No Puppies

Profile: We just rescued a beagle/lab mix from Virginia (we live in Jersey). We were told she was a lab mix, but she's clearly more beagle than anything. She's extremely intelligent, and the more I read about beagles, the more she fits the description. She's 5-6 months old. She is amazingly lovable and loving to adults and my two children. She is very interested in my cat, whom is less than pleased at the new addition. But still, Molly (our puppy) shows no signs of aggression towards our cat. She fetches like a pro, and she's already an escape artist. It's hard to stay angry about anything she does, none of it's too out of line, and her cuteness and little happy, wiggly bod outweigh any negatives. She absolutely loves to play with other dogs, loves meeting new people, and loves those dearly she sees daily. I've always had larger breeds of dogs, and so she's a bit of a curiosity to me. She does act like a larger dog. She certainly is not fearful of larger dogs herself. We couldn't be more thrilled. We're just having so much fun with her. But, it's been a years since I've raised a puppy and so I know I'll have tons of questions.
