Profile: I had the privilege to be his mama for all seven & a quarter years of his life. Stelly was a Chow through and through... loyal, stubborn, brillant, and fiercely independent. We suited each other perfectly and did everything together. Gastric torsion and chronic bloat eventually returned him to God, but not before he left a precious mark on everyone he encountered, most especially his mom. Love always baby boy! Before Stelly crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we had begun a book to capture his wonderful life. It was finished and published through Blurb.com in March 2010. To view, please use the above link. All proceeds from this go to the Humane Society. Please enjoy!

I met my momma when I was only 3wks old- when my eyes and ears weren't even working yet. She picked me even though I wasn't red but she loved my little nose and big paw paws. I was very smart right from then. I never needed to be potty trained...went outside every time. I never chewed any furniture- tho I stole one or two of my mom's stuffie's once in a while when I was mad at her. Oh, and I stick me feet out to be wiped after every one of our walks. I never liked to be dirty. My whole life was a great adventure...we walked every single day & explored. We even went in the rain & when it was blizarding. Momma sometimes had to dig me out of snow drifts but I also helped her from slipping on the ice. Car rides were my favorite...I rode shotgun! I sat very nicely with my seat belt and my big head always surprised people in other cars when they pulled up next to us. Momma even took me on vacations with her. I stayed in really nice hotels and got to ride in elevators and sleep on granite floors. I never barked unless someone tried to sneak up on or hurt my momma. I never learned to speak dog but I understood everything human...honestly, momma spoke to me in whole sentences and I knew exactly what she was saying! When other doggies talked, I never paid attention. Brushing my hair wasn't my favoritest thing but I let momma because at the end of it I got the bestest hug. Oh dear, momma says I should stop rambling now. I had a really amazing life-please read all about it in our book. Hugs!View Profile
Almost two years after Stelly went to Rainbow Bridge, I was blessed with a new little boy. Beau Bo Bear, aka Boo is a cream Chow completely opposite to Stelly in everyway except that he has his mom's heart.View Profile
