I adopted Lucy from a shelter four years ago so I am not sure of her exact birthday. The shelter personnel estimated her age at three or four years old at that time. She is a Dachsund/Chihuahua mix and is the light of my life. She is also the same exact mixed breed of my previous dog named Penny who was with us for sixteen years. I hope that Lucy is with me for at least that long, if not longer.
