Lucci

Lucci

Lucci -- 14 year old italian greyhound. Abosolutely the funniest little hambone dog in the world. Loves everyone and everything. Does cop an attitude with the vet (only when needles are involved) but they just laugh it off....

Gina (RIP 6.14.10)

Gina went to the rainbow bridge on 6.14.10. She had spindlecell sarcorma that was untreatable. She turned 18 on February 4, 2010. GIna was our 18 year old diva girl. She was a real princess and insisted that everything be done her way on her time schedule. She lost her littermate Buster October 2007 and seemed to recover from the loss (they were best friends). She tolerated her sister Lucci and pesky, love sick Harley (who thought she is the ONE). She graciously greeted all of the foster italian greyhounds that I transported to their new foster homes. She was a great dog. We miss her every day.

Harley

Harley

Harley is a 17 year old mini Dachshund. He enjoys all things in life that require no exertion on his part. He is a lazy boy and a daily car ride is all it takes to wear him out!!! Luckily he only weighs 8 pounds so he has no health issues from his lack of activity - He just can't keep up with the long legged girls he lives with -- his little stubbie legs are only 5 inches!!! The thing he loves most in life is his GINA.

Stan

Stan

This is my dog-nephew Stan. He is about 18 months old. He is the sweetest and cutest little dog ever. He really likes his dog cousins. They are 16, 14 and 12 years old and are not so sure about this rambunctious little puppy (although the 14 year old dachshund plays with him for a little while). I puppy sit whenever I am given the opportunity. He is either going 100 mph or he is sacked out. He is absolutely the most precious little snuggle bunny ever.

Buster was a great dog. He was Gina's litter mate. We took them home the same day and they were never separated. Even when they went to the vet they went together. He was a very sweet boy and a good dog who liked order in the house. He was the alpha dog. Since his passing, none of my other dogs have taken over the role of Alpha and so it has gotten rather chaotic -- Lucci does not have the attention span to be a good leader, Gina doesn't think she is a dog, and Harley is just not interested..... Oh well. We miss my old buster every day. He was a good dog. (he was 16 when he died -- a good, long life)

Mike (RIP)

Mike was the second dog we owned. My brother and I loved this dog. He was a big beagle (the breeder thought that one of her male foxhounds got into the beagle girl dorm) - so he was quite tall. He was a great dog and we loved him very much. When he died my mom would not leave her room for two days.

Marco

Marco

We adopted Marco in July 2010. He came to us through the Italian Greyhound Rescue South Texas. He was taken into rescue at age 12 through no fault of his own. At 12, he is the youngest of our dogs. He is a perfect boy -- sweet, handsome and with impeccable manners. We are lucky to have found him and enjoy him every day.
