Profile: Just a Midwestern chick with a couple of shelties, dabbling in everything I realistically can do with my dogs. My real job is in radio and I spend a few evenings a week helping other people train their dogs. Somewhere in there I still manage to play with and train my own guys!

Auggie is a little punk rock sheltie. His theme song is Thorogood's "Bad To the Bone," which I frequently sing to him under my breath before our runs in AKC agility. His favourite things include peanut butter, tennis balls, and his mama. He is a lover and a fighter all at once. He loves to jump and do agility, thinks obedience is a comedy show, has snagged a title and some Q's in rally-O, and has no lack of drive and instinct whenever he's in a pen with sheep. The one thing he does sometimes lacks in a pen with sheep is a functioning brain and/or a functioning set of brakes. Auggie was named after the nickname of an Illini Basketball player, James Augustine. For this reason he has lots of orange & blue gear and numerous basketball toys!View Profile
Payton is my newest sheltie family member, not exactly the dog I was planning on adding, but apparently exactly the dog I was meant to add. He is a great little rockstar who loves to run and play, and thinks if he stops moving he may cease to exist. His favourite things include ripping chunks of grass up in the yard, playing with his big brother, eating leaves, destroying stuffed toys, jumping up and down, running laps in the backyard, and trying to bite my nose. I decided to name Payton after one of the greatest Chicago Bears of all time, #34 Walter Payton. So far he has lived up to Walter's nickname of "Sweetness," and is shaping up to be a great athlete... as long as he doesn't take those corners too sharp and end up on his back!View Profile
