In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

Montie found her way to our doorstep one summer afternoon 8 years ago and after hunting down her owners they informed us that she always wandered away from home, and they no longer wanted her because of this, well she was too sweet to let go so we adopted her. She soon proved herself to be very intelligent (and never once wandered from us) learning tricks as quickly as we could come up with them, she even ran through the makeshift agility course my younger brother and I created for her, jumping hurtles, running around obstacles and even climbing ladders! Its hard to believe anybody would want to get rid of such an amazing dog, she is the sweetest, most loving dog you could possibly imagine. A couple years ago she was diagnosed with Addison's disease but she is on medications that keep her regulated and happy. She is getting older but is still the smart and loving friend she always has been. She is my childhood dog and even after she is gone, she will live in my heart forever.

Suzie is our adorable rescue. She was found walking alone, on the side of a busy road, late at night in the pouring rain. We stopped and picked her up and found that she was in horrendous condition. She had barely any hair due to intense flea Allergies, which she was crawling with, and her teeth were in horrible condition. She was so afraid of people that if you walked over to her, reached out your hand, or sometimes, just looked at her, she would instantly roll onto her back and avoid all eye contact. She didn't know how to play when we got her. but after months of showing her that she could trust us, she stopped her submissive rolling over and she began to chase toys and all her hair grew back. I couldn't imagine a calmer, sweeter dog. Suzie wouldn't hurt a fly and I am glad she found her way to our family.

Buddy, our 3rd rescue. Buddy was abandoned at the local Landfill. He is a very large dog and we are constantly trying to figure out what breed he is. We think maybe a Bouvier X... When we found him his was covered in mats, so covered that we had to have him completely shaved. He looked really funny running around with no fur, and his gangly long legs, but it soon grew back and he became the big furball we know and love today. He is large, taller than I am when he stands on his hind legs (5'9!!!) but don't let that fool you, he wouldn't hurt a flea. One of his favorite things to do is to run, and have somebody chase him. He learned his basic commands very quickly and his most famous trick is his High five. He is named after Buddy the elf :P
