Profile: I'm 15 and got my first dog almost three years ago. Her name is April and she's an American Dingo(also commonly referred to as Carolina Dogs). She's too smart for her own good but I love her dearly. Her little quirks make just that much more entertaining. It has quickly become my favorite breed.

We adopted her The Lost Cat & Dog Rescue. She came from West Virginia and was listed as a Shepherd cross. After having her for a few months, we started taking her to the local dog park, where we a woman who suggested we look up American Dingos. We did and April fits the description to a 't'. She's active, smart, and loves jumping the fence into our neighbors yard to play with their dog, an English Lab named Muddy. Muddy has taught April how to use the dog door and has entertained our neighbors to no end when they come home only to find both April and Muddy wrestling in their kitchen. I usually knock on their door five minutes later. She is a pain a lot of the time, but her loyalty and playfulness always cancels that out. I love her dearly and could never dream of having a different dog. In my eyes she's the perfect dog. Please excuse the fact that the breed is put as 'Mixed(unknown)'. American Dingo, Carolina Dog, and even Dingo were not one of the options.View Profile
