Bennett is a beautiful double dapple dachshund. He was born in a puppy mill that the rescue group I belong to helped shut down. He was the only surviving one of a litter of four. We searched hard for his name and it means "Blessed little one". Bennett is deaf, but very smart. We communicate with him in our own sign and body language and he communicates with body language, gestures and his voice. He was using the dog door at 4 weeks (with a booster on each side). He is sweet and loving and playful and annoying, he loves to attack feet as you walk through the house. I can't imagine being without him in my life.
