Profile: I have loved dogs my ENTIRE life!! When I was younger dogs would find me, I'd wake up in the morning and there would be a dog or puppy sitting under my window!! I truely believe that GOD sent them my way!! I have rescued and saved hundreds of dogs over my lifetime. I just can't walk away when I find a dog wandering the streets. I have to help them!! It's in my SOUL to save them. It's just part of who I am and what I stand for.

Bear is such a sweet dog!! He is so dedicated to me!! He is a "Mama's Boy" all he wants to do is stay with his mommy. He choose himself to become my service dog, I suffer from chronic severe asthma attacks. One day prior to having an attack Bear started acting weird he started running around me in circles and barking at me. I thought he wanted to go outside but when I went to open the door he would not let me walk, he stood directly in front of me. So I sat down and sure enough I had an attack. I thought his behavior was just a fluke but he has done in over and over again. I love this dog Soooo much!!View Profile
I have 2 Pom's they are great dogs!! I recently moved to Florida to stay and help with my parents, My mom is in a wheelchair and wanted my Pom's to sit with her all day, being that they have bonded with me, they would only sit with her for short periods of time. I told her that I'd get her a get her a dog of her own, To which my dad piped up and said NO, NO more dogs!! I kept looking and looking at the ads in the paper anyway. One day a particular add jumped out at me! It was for a parti-pom. I called the ad and spoke to a women who told me that the dog was a rescue and that we would need to have patience with her. She asked me if I was familiar with rescues, I said yes that I had rescued dogs my whole life. I told my dad that I was going to go and look at a dog. He never said a word to me. I know that Sweet Pea was intended for my mom ,there were just to many coincidences, the lady lived off a street named CountryWide and we live off of a street named CountrySide, her age of course was approximated, they gave her a birthday of Oct 5th the same day I was born. When the lady put the dog in my lap she reached up and licked my chin. The lady said that she had never licked her chin!! So I adopted her. My mom just fell in love with her (as well as my dad). She is just 4lbs, and is one of the cutest dog that I have ever seen. When we first got her she was so traumatized by her past, she was scared of feet, brooms etc..., when I adopted her I promised her that day that NO one would ever hurt her again!! It has took about 6 months for her to truly accept us and to trust us. She was so affectionate with my mom right from the beginning. It was like she just understood that my mom needed so much love and attention. Because she also need that same type of love and affectionate. She sits on her lap for hours on end. She is such a great little dog!! We thank God for bringing her into our lives.View Profile

I found Josh and his friend at a park. Someone just left them there!! At least they were NICE enough to put them behind a fence so they would not get hit by a car. Josh was a gangly puppy with long legs. He turned out to be a big and beautiful dog. He passed away at the ripe old age of 13. We miss ya' Josh....Love Always... Mommy, Sher and Bear. We will be with each other once again!!View Profile
Bart was adopted at 1 year old from the Humane Society. This big headed guy was really a "Gentle Giant", he weighed 160 lbs!! God took him back home when he was 15 years old. He helped bring me through a divorce. He was originally my 1st husbands dog. After I got rid of my husband, Bart stayed on with me. I was so depressed and emotional that I did not notice that Bart was just as equally depressed as me. When I would let him in the house at night, he would run right by me as though I wasn't even there, to go looking for his "daddy". When he could not find him, he would come back into the room with me with his head hung down!! I never knew that dogs could be depressed let alone show it. NONE OF MY PRIOR OR PRESENT DOGS HAVE EVER HAD ANYTHING TO BE SAD ABOUT!! After looking for his "daddy" for a month or so, he stopped running by me at the door and greated me instead. I knew then that he now accepted me as his "mommy", and he no longer gave "daddy" a thought. Bart was a real character!! He knew he was BIG, and he used to tease people. I would walk him at the park, and sometimes he would stick his big ol' head into someones car as we passed. You could just imagine the look on their face!! Other times he would "gallop" across the field towards a family, they would all scatter and hide in or on their car. He would get within 3 or 4 feet of them and just pee on a tree and then turn around and gallop the other direction. At that time I drove a Dodge Omni, and Bart would often sit on the back seat and stick his head out the window, as you can imagine his head took up the ENTIRE window!! Once when driving down the street I stopped at a stop sign, and let a little girl cross in front of my car. Well the person behind me could not see why I was stopped for the 3 or 4 seconds that it took for the little girl to pass in front of my car. He proceeded to get out of his car yelling and wagging his finger at me. Bart was lying down on the back seat, as the man approached my car, he stood up. He was SO big that he took up the entire back seat!!! WELL when he stoop up and his head went out one window and his tail went out the other, the man turned a 180 so quick and ran back in his car.!! It was the funniest thing I'd ever saw. To this day I can still picture that mans face as Barts big ol' head protruded out the window!! I miss you Bart....we will see each other one day!!
