Profile: ^Check out my website! :)^ When I was younger I was attacked by a stray dog that wondered into our back yard while me and my brother were playing in the sandbox. I grew this huge fear of dogs and never wanted anything to do with them after that. My family got our first dog when I was 4 only a year and a half after being attacked by the stray dog. His name was Eli he was a big black lab / pit bull mix. We had him for a few years until one day he got very sick (We think he just went mad) he got out of the back pen and tried to attack our neighbor's dog that was outside. My mom grabbed him getting bitten badly on the arm trying to get him under control. When I saw our dog attack my mom I had mixed emotions I was sad because I knew we'd have to put him to sleep and my mom was badly hurt, and I was scared because I wasn't sure if he would turn against any of us kids and attack us like he did my mom. Eli had to be put to sleep on May 14th 2006. It was a very sad day for our family. I had overcome my fear of dogs because of him and then he was gone. We didn't have a dog for a couple of years until we got Max who is Jack Russel Terrier. He is absolutely the sweetest dog I have ever met. Then we got Millie shortly after that. We had just Max & Millie for quite a few (4-5) years when my sister and I asked for a golden retriever or a black lab. We both missed having a bigger dog so my dad & mom got us Riley who came from my dad's friend and CO- Worker who had a litter of black lab/golden retriever mix puppies. We have had him for 3 years. I love all dogs and work at our local animal shelter called HART. I love all animals but dogs have to be my favorite and I really want a kitten :) Enjoy the pictures of my doggies!! ;)
