In mid August we lost our loved Bailey. Bailey was a 13 year old sheltie mix from the Alexandria VA shelter. We had him for 12 of his 13 years and he was a great dog. After he passed we wrote a thank you letter to all his care takers and the shelter. We went in mid October to hand deliver the letters with a donation. Last stop the shelter. I went back into the holding area to take a look at the dogs and found Winston. Winston is a Corgi/Beagle mix and was born on approximately the same day we lost Bailey. He met our 12 year old Beagle Baxter(also from the shelter) and went home about a week later. He is a ball of energy and is a great puppy. So far there have been a few arguments however all seem to be getting along fine.
