Profile: Hello I am Mathscidi. My family and I are originally from Chicago but now we are in SC. I am a private Math & Science tutor and my hubby works for a hospital. We are a very busy family. In addition to working and our internet businesses, we live on a 33 acre farm, care for my 82 year old mother who lives with us and rescue dogs. We have many animals but mostly dogs and Murphy, well she thinks she is a people. We did not train her, she trained us! But I am OK with that.

Of all our animals, Murphy is my life, my joy, my sparkle in life. She is an 18 year old Boston Terrier. She was sick as a puppy and one vet said she would never make a good pet. Needless to say, we got a 2nd opinion about her health needs and a new vet. Here she is 18 years later, the best pet I have ever owned. She and I are unseperable. I take her to work with me everyday. I love her madly. She can't see much anymore and her walking is limited these days, but she has an attitude and continues to tell us what to do. UPDATE: 6 months shy of her 20th bday, she passed on Oct 19, 2011 peacefully in my arms. Three days before we had spend the weekend with her and my mom a girls weekend in TN for one last horray. She loved the car rides. We will miss her forever. We are devastated but trying to heal. Please pray for us.View Profile
Niki's Mom was rescued last year pregnant and heart worm positive. She had a litter of 15. Three were still borned and the other came emergency C Section. Mom and 12 puppies did fine. We adopted some out and kept some but Niki was the runt of the litter and he is a big baby, so he is one of the house dogs. He likes to come to work with me and keep the seat warm for my students. He has 2 speeds, stop and love and I am crazy with energy.View Profile
Tank & Booker are brothers. I put them together on this post as one unit because that is what they are, a set of bookends. These 2 can not be seperated. They even have to be kenneled together. If one is picked up and not the other, they have a fit, not cuz they are not getting attention but cuz we took their buddy away. They go to the vet together if one is sick. When they were puppies, we wanted to bond with them but they bonded with each other. They pretty well ignored us. They were too busy playing with each other. They have grown to appreciate humans, since we feed them, but I think they would be happy with each other and an automatic feeder. Ha, Ha.View Profile
