Profile: Hi I'm Laura. My husband, Kevin & I have 5 children and we're all avid dog lovers. Furry friends are wonderful. I love ALL breeds and mixes of dogs. I am partial to dachshunds because my parents bought me my first doxie when I was 2 years old. I've had dachshunds throughout my adulthood. Miss Annie is the first female I've had since I was a child. Getting Annie was the best decision my husband and I could have made. She's such a good companion to our older dachshund, Max. I'd love to hear from any dog lover. Dachshund Trivia: The first dog that was cast as Toto in the Wizard of Oz was a dachshund. (Owned by Margaret Hamilton - The Wicked Witch of the West). They replaced her doxie with the Cairn Terrier, because of the anit-German feelings in the United States during WWII.
