Profile: I'm new to DailyPuppy.com and I'm not quite certain how everything works. Lately the comments I've been trying to post don't show up or will show up on one of my dogs' profile for some odd reason. Despite some of the site's imperfections, I love the idea of being able to look through endless puppy pictures! I'm definitely a dog person - if I could, I'd have a million puppies and dogs right now! My favorite breeds are German Shepherds - especially all white/black ones - Huskies, Malamutes, Beaucerons, Aussies and ACD's.

Betty

Betty

I found Betty after searching petfinder.com for months and was immediately drawn to her. She was sheltered at an Australian Cattle Dog Rescue just a half hour away from where I live. My mom and I decided to take the drive out to meet her and knew instantly she was the puppy for us. We adopted her in April when she was approximately 6 - 9 months old. Adopting a shelter dog isn't easy and Betty was skittish at first, but after a few weeks she opened right up and is now certainly a member of the family. We know that Betty is an Australian Shepherd, but we won't know for a few more months if she is a miniature or not. She could also be a mix between an Aussie Shepherd and Australian Cattle Dog.

In Loving MemoryIn Loving Memory

My parents adopted Millie from a close family friend when I was just a baby. Millie and I grew up together and up until just last year, I never knew what life was like without her. Millie lived to be 16 years old and passed away last July after surviving several tumors and seizures. We put her down when her ability to walk was quickly deteriorating. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I miss you Millie

One of my mom's friends found Lady after she was abandoned by her owners because she was not a purebred. We gladly took her in despite her many health problems. Lady lived with thyroid and weight issues all of her life. She passed away one night last summer in her sleep when she was approximately 11 years old.
