Mama Angel (a white chihuahua/terrier) and Papa Bosley (a pug mix) were found as strays together, with Angel pregnant and due within weeks! Luckily for them, New Leash on Life took in the little family. And two weeks later, the adorable puppies were born around 3am on 9/13/09! Papa Bosley was adopted within a week of his puppies being born, and one of the pups was lucky enough to find her forever home already, but the remaining three are still looking for their forever-homes! Charlie looks the most like mama - a light coat, and a slightly longer nose. He's the mellowest of the pups and loves being held more then anything else. If you want a cuddle-buddy, then Charlie is your boy! Farrah is the feistiest pup of the litter. The light colored female was the first puppy to start "talking" in squeaks and yips. She is also usually the one to initiate play with her siblings, and is always bouncing around the whelping box. If a playful and spirited pup is what you're seeking, then look no further! If you are interested in adopting one of these adorable mixes, contact New Leash on Life by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 661-255-0097. Three months ago, Angel was found running loose on the streets. She was skinny, malnourished, and pregnant. Her puppies were due within weeks. Luckily for her, she was found and taken in by New Leash on Life. Her puppies were born healthy and have all found homes, and now it's Angel's turn! Since she had been living on the street, Angel can be a little shy at first. But within minutes, she turns into the most adorable and sweet dog that you'll ever meet! She loves to cuddle and give kisses, and being only about 1 year old herself, she is as playful as her puppies. She especially loves to play fetch (she even brings toys back most of the time!). She's incredibly smart, housebroken, knows sit, and looooves cookies (a good thing, or this playful pup would have never stood still long enough to have her pictured taken). Read more about her at her profile on New Leash's website here: http://nlol.org/dogs.asp?dogid=1028.
