Alexandra the Bloodhound
Alexandra is a playful, lovable, and adventurous new member of our family. She loves being outdoors, exploring, and chewing on anything but her toys. She spends her days sleeping, lying under the shade of the bushes and eating sticks, and playing with her big brother, Clyde, an eight year old basset hound. Al loves to jump on top of Clyde and tackle him to the ground. She tugs at his collar to play and nibbles on his long ears. Poor Clyde has so much patience for energetic little Al. Hopefully, she'll be as mellow and lazy as him one day. Alexandra has truly been a blessing and every day she captures us with her cute wrinkly face and long ears.

Poor Clyde! I guess Alex wore him out! She's completely adorable and wrinkly, and, as you doubtless know, you're in for a treat (no sarcasm intended) when she starts to sing. (Two bloodhounds lived up the street from me as a child, and my parents and I loved listening to them bell.)

OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!! Next to my two bassets this is it for me!!!!! Can I tell you how much I LOVE Alexandria? I dont think I could. If, IF I could have a bloodhound in my condo(no way possible for these are big dogs and they need a place to roam and sniff, sniff sniff) I would have had one. Bassets are my favorite but Alex is making me jump with joy!! I do really love her. You are so lucky! A Bloodhound AND a Basset... You ain't nothin' but hound dogs! They're cute. I assume the collar is for an invisible fence. We use them for our 2 dogs - they work great. Our dogs never roam the neighborhood. At one time, we had 3 dogs and one collar - our dogs were so well trained they didn't need to wear their collar all the time.
What a sweet little girl! I'd love to stroke those velvety ears. It's really funny, she seems quite big until you see her next to Al. I guess when she grows up she'll be bigger than him? Certainly her legs will be longer than his *g*. A long and happy life to you all!
Poor little thing, no one to play with? Maybe your parents will take you for training as a sniffer dog. Blood hounds are great working dogs. You would make them very proud and it would use some of your energy! xxx

That's not a barking shock collar, it's an Invisible Fence collar. My dog has one. They're really great and it only tickles the dog in the neck and beeps if they pass the invisible line. It gives your dog plenty of freedom without the feeling of being locked behind a fence.
She is beautiful! I haven't ever seen a bloodhound puppy, how cute can you possibly be. I bet Clyde has a time w/Alexandra! Lots of kisses & belly rubs to them both.

I've neve seen a Bloodhound puppy before--only adults. What a gorgeous girl--you just wanna grab all that floppy, puppy skin and nuzzle into it. Her bro is adorable too. Gotta love their ears. Loads of biscuits to them both!

What a beautifull girl Alexandra is. I have an 8 year old male Bloodhound named Tracker and a 3 year old Basset Hound named Ozzy. Mt situation is just the reverse of yours. I love both breeds the same they are very much alike.In a short while they will really start to bond with each other. Enjoy you new pup give her a belly rubbin for me.
I think she's worn him out! What a pair of cuties, and what long floppy fantastic ears they both have! My family has a four-year-old dog and a ten-week-old puppy, so I know all about new-puppy antics and older dogs doing their best to tolerate being used as chew toys! Eleven biscuits for Alexandra - just make sure she shares a few with Clyde when he recovers.

Next to Dachshunds, This is my most favorite breed, and my third. I absolutely LOVE Bloodhounds and Basset hounds. I guess I am just a Hound dog lover!!! She is beautiful! And he is a pretty handsome guy too! Belly rubs for both your babies, and a BILLION biscuits, too.!!!

these dogs make you wanna go MMMMM and ruffle their ears and give them a nose to nose rub in a lil tiny squeaky voice! it takes alot for me to get clucky like that but i tell ya! i'll give her nose rubs and ears ruffles all day long! so darn cute!
